Ideate + Design Innovative digital experiences

I am a Toronto-based designer with over a decade of experience. I have worked extensively in technology and financial services, leveraging human-centred design and innovative technology to simplify complex workflows for users. I am a system thinker with the ability to see both the big picture and how parts of a system are connected and interdependent.

Growing up in small towns in Nigeria, I developed the ability to be resourceful and adaptable. My upbringing also instilled in me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, and I bring my unique perspectives to design discussions and communities. Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer and listening to music (mostly Afrobeats). Also, as a passionate Manchester United fan, I cheer on the Red Devils every step of the way.

I currently work as a UX Architect at TD Bank where my focus is to introduce Usage-based Insurance to the new TD Insurance mobile app. Before this, I worked as a UX Design Lead at VMware (now part by Broadcom) where I designed products and led teams successfully. With the understanding that every project is unique, I am driven by a passion for collaboratively building products and tools that users love to use. I lead user experience initiatives and teams, prioritizing user needs while balancing technology and business goals.

I graduated from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design. I am working towards achieving my Masters degree in Digital Experience Innovation at the University of Waterloo Stratford School of Design and Business by the first Quarter of 2024.
